 | Children learn best through firsthand, sensory experiences. They need to handle, manipulate, experiment and explore, and they also need to expect certain guidelines, rules and routine in order to feel safe and secure. Our task at the Creative Learning Center is to enhance these experiences with the proper tools and protective controls for each child's optimal learning. Our overall curriculum of carefully planned activities includes:| art | large motor activities | nutrition education | | language arts | science exploration | health education | | literature | math | nature studies | | reading readiness | water play | social studies | | dramatic play & puppetry | woodworking | computer skills | | small motor challenges | music and movement | field trips |

Cross-Age grouping is used for activities where diversity in background and experience is desired. For other learning experiences children are grouped by Chronological or Developmental Age. For a more detailed look at our curriculum, review our
